After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, ACF Chefs Las Vegas is very proud to announce the return of Chef of the Year Awards. This is a very prestigious awards competition where we pay tribute to that member whose culinary expertise and exemplary dedication have enhanced the image of the chef and the association.
This person should be one who commands the respect of the members because of character and performance. The award will be in recognition of the dedication and contribution of time and knowledge to the association and community by the person who has accomplished the most to benefit the association.
For the Chef of the Year, along with great honor comes great responsibility. The Chef of the Year duties involve setting up monthly meetings by securing the location, all the vendors, scheduling the meals provided, and being hands-on to organize everything; taking the pressure off of the president. The Chef of the Year also plays an important role in representing the chapter to the community at large.
There are two ways to make a nomination.
- Nominations are being accepted electronically now through February 24. To complete your nomination, click the button below to fill out the form.
- Attend the March Chapter meeting (date and location TBA) and make a nomination from the floor. Please have all the above information ready to go in a sealed packet with your name and contact information on the envelope.
The Chef of the Year candidate must have been a member of the local chapter for a minimum of one year. The following information is needed to complete the form.
