About ACF Chefs Las Vegas

With more than 20,000 members nationwide, The American Culinary Federation, Inc. (ACF), is the premier professional organization for culinarians, and is the culinary leader in offering certification, educational resources, training, apprenticeship and programmatic accreditation. ACF offers culinary competitions, certification, national industry trends publications and much more to help foster the growth of professional chefs and the foodservice industry.

ACF Chefs Las Vegas was founded in 1968 and is composed of chefs and culinary enthusiasts throughout the Southern Nevada area. We offer opportunities to network, learn, and most importantly, have fun while enhancing the local community.

Charitable Initiatives – What We Do

  • Chefs For Kids is our flagship program that aims to eliminate malnutrition and hunger through targeted education, awareness, and example. Throughout the year our chefs volunteer to serve hot, nutritious meals to more than 10,000 kids in at-risk elementary schools.
  • ProStart we donate funds to support this high school culinary challenge as well as to Clark County School District’s Southeast Career Technical Academy Culinary Program.
  • The Shade Tree Women’s Shelter receives a generous donation of gifts and breakfast on Christmas Eve morning.
  • Chefs4Vegas was created in 2020 to provide food assistance to families in need during the pandemic.

The Culinarian Code

As a proud member of the American Culinary Federation, I pledge to share my professional knowledge and skill with all culinarians. I will place honor, fairness, cooperation and consideration first when dealing with my colleagues. I will keep all comments professional and respectful when dealing with my colleagues. I will protect all members from the use of unfair means, unnecessary risks and unethical behavior when used against them for another’s personal gain. I will support the success, growth, and future of my colleagues and this great federation.
