We are taking our senses on a journey to West Africa for our February meeting. Calabash African Kitchen is our destination, and our menu features Jollof inspired Senegambian cuisine, a delicious combination of both Senegalese and Gambian food.

In honor of Black History Month, members from African Diaspora of Las Vegas will welcome the group.
Chef Oulay will share insights on her culture, food and our menu highlights.
6:30–8 p.m. Dinner Buffet & DJ Spinning
Menu: Garden Salad with Calabash Dressing, Fried Plantains, Ndembe (Vegetarian Bean Stew), Mafe Domoda (Peanut Butter Stew with Beef), Shrimp Stew, FuFu (Pounded Yam), Chicken Yassas, Jollof Rice (vegetarian), Chakri (West African Parfait)
